Dispute with RPR Report
Omission of Air Conditioner Unit
The reviewer, Kyle Page, had a Maidment RPR (Real Property Report) done when purchasing their house. However, 10 years later, when selling the house, it was discovered that the original air conditioner unit, located at the back of the house, was not included in the report.
Inconsistency with Legal Requirements
Despite being told that the company is only required to show AC units on the side of the house, the reviewer argues that the purchase contract states all improvements must be shown on the RPR. This oversight has resulted in additional costs of $700 for an updated RPR and compliance from the city.
