Our story begins in the heart of Italy, in the small town of Treviso, a place world-renowned for its design and craftsmanship of furniture and home interiors. It was here that the Ongaro family opened a small workshop over 50 years ago, with a vision of what kitchen design should be. Through hard work, perseverance, and innovation, the family built a reputation for quality, sustainability, and service in everything they did. Today, that small workshop has grown into a 20,000 square metre ultra-modern design and manufacturing centre, yet the core values remain. We are still a family business, dedicated to our craft and our Italian heart and heritage.
Now, we are proud to bring our expertise in Italian design and fabrication to Canadian homes. We work with architects, interior designers, and project developers to design and build innovative, custom-crafted interiors for major, multi-unit condominium and residential projects. And we can do the same for homes like yours.

Gian Luigi Ongaro, born into the custom kitchen cabinetry business, has a love and passion for Italian design running through his veins. With a background in International Trade, International Economy, and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, Gian Luigi brings a unique blend of education and real-world experience to the table. After working in the family business in Italy, Gian Luigi moved to Canada where he co-founded Trevisana. Under his leadership, Trevisana has become the 'go-to' partner for many of the leading architects, interior designers, and project developers in the business.
