Disappointing Experience with Allan's Company
Initial Contact and Misleading Advertising
The reviewer, Jacklyn Butzelaar, contacted Allan's company to request a quote for yard work, including re-grading and building a new patio, in their small backyard. However, upon further investigation, it was revealed that the "free quote" advertised on the company's website came with a $100 fee.
Exorbitant Quote
The reviewer was shocked to receive a quote of $75,000 for the work, which was deemed "absolutely insane" considering the small size of the backyard. A picture of the yard was included to illustrate its modest dimensions.
Negative Outcome
As a result of the astronomical quote, the reviewer has decided to explore other options, but not before being left out of pocket for the $100 fee.
