Wright Construction Western Inc. is a Canadian construction company with a rich history that spans over a century. Established in 1905 as Smith Brothers and Wilson Ltd., the company has undergone significant transformations over the years, with the Wright family being instrumental in its growth and development. Today, Wright Construction Western Inc. is one of the longest-operating construction companies in Saskatchewan, with a presence across Western Canada.

Our Story

Our story began in 1905 when Smith Brothers and Wilson Ltd. opened its doors in Saskatchewan. Two years later, the company moved its headquarters to Saskatoon. The Wright family has played a significant role in the company's management and ownership throughout its history. Lorne Wright, the current President, represents the third generation of the Wright family to manage the operations in the province. Over the years, Wright Construction Western Inc. has been involved in numerous landmark projects, including the original buildings of the University of Saskatchewan, Hotel Saskatchewan in Regina, and the Bessborough Hotel in Saskatoon.
