Disappointing Experiences with Security Companies
It seems that not all security companies in Canada are doing things right. Two customers, Melissa Oakley and Maarten Van Ruitenburg, had subpar experiences with two different companies.
Unfinished Installation and Lack of Follow-up
Melissa Oakley rated her experience with a security company 1 star, expressing her frustration with the company's unprofessional behavior. She claims that they gave her a quote, but failed to complete the installation, and despite promising to return the next day, the company didn't respond to her phone calls and messages. Melissa is left feeling disappointed and urges potential customers to "buyer beware" and consider other security companies.
Quotation and Refusal to Waive Charge
Maarten Van Ruitenburg also had a negative experience, giving his company 2 stars. Although he found the representative friendly, he felt that the company's quotation process was unfair. When he decided not to proceed with the installation, the company charged him for the consultation, despite the fact that he never agreed to proceed. Maarten concludes that the company's behavior is simply unacceptable.
