The Expertise of Our Principal

Ahmed A. Aref, Architect, OAA, AIBC, AIA, NCARB, LEED Green Associate, serves as both principal and lead designer at A+ Architecture. His extensive experience in diverse architectural sectors - commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional - spans Canada, the United States, and the Middle East. Prior to establishing his own practice, Ahmed honed his skills working for distinguished design firms in North America, collaborating closely with senior architects and serving as a lead architect/project manager on complex and ambitious building projects.

Beyond his mastery of architectural design, Ahmed possesses a comprehensive skill set encompassing project management, client service, and construction administration. He understands the intricacies of construction techniques, standard contracts, and regulatory compliance in North America. His multi-lingual fluency (English, Arabic, French, and Spanish) also allows him to effectively bridge communication gaps between diverse stakeholders.
