Dan Misek Carpentry

I am incredibly impressed with the work done by Dan Misek Carpentry on my 1845 limestone farm house with barnboard summer kitchen. He handled an extensive list of tasks independently with exceptional attention to detail.

The renovation started with Dan handling the controlled demolation of a water damaged peak roof and rebuilding it as a slanted roof. Dan also took care of the demolition of lathe and plaster walls, tongue and groove ceiling, and damaged sections of flooring.

He completed all the interior framing, insulation, drywall, flooring, kitchen cabinets, countertops, and major appliance installations. He installed all new plumbing, including the toilet, tub with shower surround, and sinks. In addition to the structural work, he meticulously restored and installed the original trim, and arched ceiling preserving the historic charm of the home. He also completed the exterior work, including new siding, foundation repairs, landscaping, and replacing the main roof with steel.

Dan handled the coordinated of the necessary subcontractors, including electrical and HVAC, ensuring everything was completed as requested and came together smoothly.

To meet an expedited deadline, Dan worked evenings and weekends, always maintaining high-quality work. I am beyond pleased with the results and highly recommend Dan Misek Carpentry for any project.

We secured Dan Misek's contracting services for a complete internal cottage renovation. We went back to the studs with this renovation that included insulation, drywall, framing new walls, pine ceilings, flooring, new full kitchen, new bathroom, baseboards & trim work, hanging doors and handles etc. etc. Dan did an unbelievable job on all fronts. We were extremely happy with the value, the timelines, his ability to work with us and stay on budget, and his overall communication and collaboration end-to-end. I can't recommend Dan Misek enough. If you're looking for a reliable, honest, knowledgeable and professional carpenter look no further. We hired Dan to do renovation work at our family cottage. Dan was easy to communicate with and was very responsive to all of our requests. He spent a lot of time answering all of our questions and sending us updates about progress.
