Our team, led by Sue Baran, a UK-qualified landscape architect with over 35 years of experience in landscape contracting and garden design, is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Sue's background is rooted in the art of landscape design. She spent 20 years in Hong Kong designing and building numerous award-winning parks and recreation, and tourism projects. Since moving to Canada in 1999, Sue has been working as a full-service landscape contractor and garden designer, incorporating her extensive knowledge of plants and creative use of walls, paving, natural rock, arbours, and water features to transform properties into special places.
Currently based on Gabriola Island, Sue draws inspiration from the area's natural beauty and vibrant arts scene. When not designing stunning gardens for her clients, Sue is an avid gardener and enjoys spending time in her own garden, as well as pursuing her hobbies of horse-riding, hiking, kayaking, and stone sculpture.
