Who We Are

At Ace Excavating Ltd, we are a family-owned and operated business with a rich history dating back to the 1980s. Our journey began with our first earthwork projects, but over the years, we have expanded our services to offer a wide range of construction industry solutions. With sons joining the business in 2005, we have further expanded our knowledge, skills, and experience. As a family-owned business, we understand the importance of developing long-term relationships with our clients and employees. We pride ourselves on our employees' dedication to their work and take pride in our workmanship.

Safety

At Ace Excavating Ltd, we consider our employees to be an extension of our family. Ensuring a safe work environment is our top priority. We strive to exceed WCB OHS regulations and safety standards to prevent accidents. We also prioritize education for our employees, enrolling them in safety courses to ensure everyone is aware and knowledgeable about safe practices in every aspect of the workplace. Our goal is for everyone to go home safely at the end of the day, without incident.

Environment

We take great pride in the natural beauty of our city and are committed to preserving the environment for our children and future generations to enjoy. We take our commitment to recycle and dispose of construction debris and spoil in proper, monitored facilities seriously. During excavations in sensitive areas, we install erosion and sediment control (ESC) or flocculent systems to treat and control murky sediment before it enters our streams, ensuring a habitat of clean, clear water for fish to thrive.

SITE PREP

From clearing and grubbing to final grading, we have the equipment and knowledge to take a site from start to finish without the need for any other trades in between.

SITE SERVICES

If it's in the ground, we can install it. From sanitary force mains to water meter chambers, oil interceptors, and flow control manholes, to complete storm detention systems - we can do it all. And if your site requires off-site tie-ins, we can do that too. We're a one-stop contractor.

CIVIL CONSTRUCTION

From light to heavy civil, on or off site, we've done it all. From Mse walls to bridges, road building to lift stations, and everything in between, our knowledge is our strength.

UTILITIES

Need hydro, tel, and gas installed? On or off site, we've been there. From the smallest pull boxes to the biggest vault boxes, you can be confident that when you hire Ace, the job is done right.

DEMOLITION

To build your vision, sometimes the old needs to go to make room for the new. From full abatement and hazards materials removal to utilities and site service disconnections, we know how to put it up right and take it down with the same level of attention to detail.

EROSION & SEDIMENT CONTROL (ESC)

We understand that sometimes a bit of a mess needs to be made to get the job done. That's why we ensure that the site is properly cleaned up after completion, and that any environmental impact is minimized.
