Unprofessional Experience with Contractors
The contractor, Pam Berg, had a disastrous experience with their hire. They were told the job would take 5 weeks, but it's now going on 18 weeks, with seemingly random appearances by different workers. The contractor points out that the workers seem unprofessional, with one worker staring outside their living room window for several mornings and another blasting music next to their window from morning to end of shift. The contractor felt that this was unconsiderate, especially given that they work from home. The final straw came when the workers showed up unexpectedly and started hammering away, causing the contractor to have to cancel an important client call. The experience was extremely unprofessional, and the contractor would not hire them again.
Lack of Communication and Unconsiderate Behaviour
The contractor was also upset about the lack of communication from the contractor's team. They would often leave for extended periods, only to return without explanation. The contractor felt that this lack of transparency was unacceptable, especially given the significant delays in the project's completion. The contractors also seemed to ignore the fact that the homeowner worked from home, with some workers even staring into the living room window or blasting music next to it.
