Disappointing Experience at Build-all
Several customers have shared their negative experiences at Build-all, a hardware store in Canada. The main issue reported is the fluctuating prices, which can vary significantly over a short period. James Martens, who gave the store 1 star, noticed that prices changed every other day, making it difficult to budget. He advises customers to call around before visiting Build-all, as it may not be the best option for their budget.
Quality Control Issues
Chris Bird, who gave the store 2 stars, expressed disappointment with the quality of materials purchased. He was charged $116 for a 3/8 sheet of plywood and four 2x4s, which was significantly higher than the previous year's prices. Upon inspection, he found that one of the 2x4s was short, and another was covered in concrete residue. He also noted that the materials were bowed and chipped, which was not what he expected. In a follow-up comment, Chris mentioned that he had to purchase additional 2x4s, which were also defective.
Price Gouging
Riel Dylan Burrows, who gave the store 4 stars, commended the store for its selection and quality, except for one notable exception. He was shocked by the price of 10 N95 masks, which cost $88.
