Pross Construction was hired to prepare a carriage house for a concrete slab, but they failed to complete the job due to excessive requests for extra payment. The company was late to start the job and had difficulties with subtrades and material ordering. The reviewing author was forced to take the company to small claims court and eventually won, with Pross Construction ordered to pay back the full deposit plus interest.
Another reviewer had a similar experience, with Pross Construction quoting one price but charging another after "further inspection of the project". The company overcharged for simple materials and the work done was of poor quality. A second contractor was able to fix the issues at a lower cost than originally charged.
