Katharine grew up in Vancouver and developed a passion for sewing at a young age. She later moved to England, where she worked in residential property development in Mayfair and Belgravia, London, before training in the classical City & Guilds method of soft furnishings. This extensive experience has given her a unique understanding of what makes a house a home.
