Our Story

Hoek Van Holland Landscaping Ltd. was founded by Peter Strybosch, who named the company after the Dutch town where he worked on ships as a teenager. The company's roots date back to 1957, when Peter immigrated to Canada from Holland. After creating and selling a successful landscape and maintenance business in Toronto, Peter established Hoek Van Holland Nursery and Landscaping in 1972. Today, Steven James Strybosch, Peter's son, continues the family legacy, bringing his lifetime of horticultural and landscape experience to every project.
