Our Story

It all began in 2016 when Verlin Penner and his wife purchased CountrySide Kenora from John Peters. At that time, the business was focused on installing metal roofing and selling metal and vinyl siding to a few contractors. As the business grew, we made the decision to join an independent building materials buying group, giving us access to more products and better pricing. We have since expanded our product line to include many types of siding, roofing, deck, and building materials.

What We Offer

We offer building materials for your entire building envelope, including exterior finishing products, roofing, and premier portable buildings. As your exterior finishing experts, we have hundreds of options and styles to choose from. We can help you design the perfect exterior look that will stun the neighbors. Our product line includes real wood siding, stone, vinyl siding, engineered wood, maintenance-free metal, and accent shakes. We also supply sheet metal roofing to contractors and connect you with installers for our own roofs. Additionally, we are an authorized Premier Buildings dealer, selling anything from storage sheds to bunkies to garages to workshops to finished cabins/tiny houses.
