At Timmins Overhead Door Ltd., we take pride in being a family-owned business that has been serving Northeastern Ontario for over 40 years. Our company was founded in 1978 by Bernd and Rose Thiel, and has since been run by their son, Christopher Thiel, who is joined by his wife, Natalie Thiel.

Our Story

Our story began when Christopher and Natalie met and started their journey together. Christopher was working for his parents' company at the time, and Natalie was busy building her accounting and business skills. In 2001, Chris and Natalie welcomed their first child, Lia, and soon after in 2008, Haylee arrived. As Natalie was busy caring for the family and gaining more accounting and business experience, Chris continued working at his parents' company. In 2009, the couple got married and welcomed their daughter Emily the following year. In 2013, their little man, Cooper, completed the Thiel family. The husband-and-wife team decided to embark on a new journey and purchased the company in 2014.
