Our owner, James Green, is a Journeyman Carpenter with over a decade of experience in the trade, and his expertise shines through in every project he takes on.

Our Story

Born in Port Coquitlam, BC, James chased his dream of becoming a carpenter and earned his Journeyman Carpenter Red Seal at SAIT in Calgary. With a decade of experience under his belt, James launched Green Goose Renovations & Construction in 2016, driven by a passion to build something truly unique and special. From humble beginnings to a thriving business, our company has grown thanks to the trust and support of our wonderful clients. When James isn't working, he can be found in his workshop, fishing the St. Mary's in summer, snowboarding in winter, or sharing adventures with his wife Liz and son Oliver.

Qualifications & Insurance

As a Red Seal-certified Journeyman Carpenter, James brings a level of expertise and attention to detail to every project. Additionally, our team is fully insured with Wawanesa Insurance, providing comprehensive coverage for work in your home and on your property, as well as off-site. We're registered nationally (Business Number 80670 3724 BC0001) and hold licences with the City of Kimberley and City of Cranbrook (Licence Number 9887).
