Our Story

Our journey began with a passion for construction and a commitment to delivering exceptional services. Our founder, Mark Van Herk, is a graduate of the Construction Engineering Technology Supervisor program at Fanshawe College in London. With a background in farming, barn building, bridge building, framing, and masonry, Mark brought his diverse knowledge and skills to the table to build MVH Construction Inc. from the ground up. In 2011, we incorporated, and since then, we have been providing top-notch construction services to our valued clients.

Our Services

We are a one-stop-shop for all your construction needs. Our services include:

• Residential construction: custom homes, subdivisions, additions, garages, and renovation projects
• Agricultural construction: agricultural sheds, new barns, and revival of old bank barns
• Commercial construction: recladding large commercial buildings, building offices and washrooms, and constructing new shops with included office space
• Concrete work: association with larger projects or standalone concrete projects
• Window and door installation: installation of new windows, replacement of old inefficient windows, and matching existing windows in additions

Our Team

Our team is comprised of experienced professionals who are passionate about construction. With an average of three employees, we are able to run a highly efficient and skilled crew with the operator on site. We also accept cooperative education students from surrounding high schools and colleges as well as trade school apprentices.
