Our History

Our story began in 1950 when John Giesbrecht first opened Pioneer Building Supplies Ltd. in Yarrow. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our operations to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Today, we operate from a 4-acre site with a main retail space of 20,000 sq ft and a separate warehouse of 16,000 sq ft. Despite our growth, we remain committed to our core values of exceptional customer service, quality products, and competitive prices.
