Exceeding Customer Expectations, One Product at a Time.

We are a septic tank pumping business located in the beautiful town of Sauble Beach. We have been serving the Grey and Bruce Counties for over 40 years and are proud to be a family-run business. Our team is committed to providing excellent service to our community, and we strive to exceed our customers' expectations.

In March of 2018, Grey Bruce Septic Service was purchased by Kevin Beirnes, owner of Beirnes Septic Service. Kevin has merged his business with ours, and we now operate under the name Grey Bruce Septic Service. Kevin's wife Brooke answers the phone and schedules appointments, ensuring that our customers receive personalized service.

Our Services

At Grey Bruce Septic Service, we offer a range of services to maintain and repair your septic system. We believe that maintenance is crucial to the longevity of your system, and our cost-effective septic tank pumping service is an essential investment for any homeowner. Regularly scheduled pumping can prevent costly repairs and ensure that your system functions properly.

Septic repairs can be expensive, often costing thousands of dollars. A septic system is a significant investment and one of the most expensive pieces of your home. By investing in our septic tank pumping service, you can save money in the long run and avoid costly repairs.

In addition to septic tank pumping, we also provide septic inspections for home sales. Our technicians are experienced and knowledgeable, ensuring that your system is inspected thoroughly and accurately.

Septic and Holding Tank Pumping

We have four trucks that can handle both septic and holding tanks of any size. The capacity of our trucks is a minimum of 3200 gallons, ensuring that we can handle even the largest tanks. Pricing is based on location, and we are happy to provide a quote for our services.

To prepare for your appointment, it's essential to ensure that your tank is accessible. We do not dig out lids, so it's crucial to expose the lid before our arrival. If possible, please clear the laneway of any vehicles that may be in the way. This will allow our trucks to get closer to the tank, making the process more efficient.

We also offer winter services, with winter rates in effect from December 1st to March 31st (weather pending). Winter services are provided on an emergency basis, and we only have one truck on the road during this time.

Septic Help

If you experience a backup or other issue with your septic system, it's crucial to know what to do. If you have a backup, the first thing to do is lift the lid on your tank and check the water level. The water level in your tank should always be 6-8" from the top. A common misconception is that when your level is that high, your tank is "full" and needs emptied. However, that is the normal operating height and will always be at that level.

If the liquid is right up to the lid or overflowing, you could have a tile bed problem. In this case, you will need the tank pumped. Your filter could also be plugged, especially in newer systems with 2 chamber tanks. Newer systems typically have filters that need cleaned annually.

Our Service Area

We serve Sauble Beach and the surrounding area, including Hepworth, Shallow Lake, Wiarton, Red Bay, Howdenvale, Big Bay, Owen Sound, Southampton, and Port Elgin. We value our community and take pride in serving our neighbours.

Please note that going outside of our service area is at our discretion and may not always be possible. However, we will do our best to accommodate requests for service outside of our standard area.

At Grey Bruce Septic Service, we are committed to providing excellent service to our customers. Our team is knowledgeable, experienced, and dedicated to ensuring that your septic system functions properly.
