Our Story

Our journey began in 1960 when Dale Chappell founded Dale's Carpentry. Dale was a master carpenter who lived in the Saugeen Shores area his entire life. He and his wife, Carol, built and restored hundreds of homes and cottages together. Sadly, Dale passed away in 2008, but his legacy lives on through our continued commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Today, Terry Chappell, Dale's son, is at the helm, carrying on the family tradition of excellence.

Our Experience with ICF

We have been building ICF homes for over 12 years and have extensive experience with the NUDURA system. Our first ICF home, located in Southampton, Ontario, is a testament to the efficiency and durability of this technology. With heating and hydro costs totaling only $865 for the first year, it's clear that ICF construction is a wise investment for homeowners looking to save on energy costs.
