For over six decades, Bowman Electric Limited has been dedicated to providing reliable and safe electrical services to Kenora and the surrounding areas. Our story begins in 1957 with Swen Bowman Electric Ltd., where Swen was committed to delivering high-quality electrical services to the community. Upon Swen's retirement in 1972, his son, Roger Bowman, took over the family tradition. In 1981, Gregg Bowman joined the team as an estimator/project manager, eventually becoming the general manager in 1989.

In 1996, Gregg Bowman acquired the company, and in December 1997, Bowman Electric relocated to its current location on Railway Street. In 2021, Gregg Bowman retired, and his son, Dylan Bowman, took over the reins, continuing the legacy of Bowman Electric.

Throughout its history, Bowman Electric has maintained a year-round staff of 15 full-time employees. We are dedicated to improving the local electrical industry and have been recognized for our apprenticeship training program, producing some of the top electricians in the region. Our apprentices have received several awards and recognition from the Province of Ontario.
