Our story began in 1968 when Ed Seguin, after years of experience in mining and farming, decided to venture into the world of paving and landscaping. Armed with nothing but rakes, shovels, and a wheelbarrow, Ed, alongside his wife Jeanne-d'Arc and their four sons, began building a reputation for hard work and dedication. Their commitment to quality and customer service quickly grew their business, and in 1982, Ed Seguin & Sons Trucking and Paving Ltd. became a formally incorporated company.

Driven by the importance of family and teamwork, two of Ed's sons, Pierre and Maurice, joined the business in 1992 as partners, further solidifying the company's familial foundation. Claude and Rick, the other two sons, pursued different paths but later joined forces to establish SCR Mining and Tunnelling, a testament to the family's entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering dedication to building successful enterprises.
