Comprised of 3 divisions, Comar Electrical services the marine sector as well as commercial, industrial and residential markets. Our field and in-house personnel are highly qualified and possess 300 years of combined experience in the design, manufacture, installation and servicing of electrical systems. All of our work is of utmost quality to meet or exceed client and inspection requirements. Comar Electric offers peace of mind to clients by overseeing the installation of sophisticated electrical systems and have traveled internationally to complete numerous projects.

Our Products

Comar Electrical Services Ltd. offers a variety of products to meet the needs of our clients. We design and manufacture custom electrical systems, including:

• Auto Shore: An exclusive Comar product, the Auto Shore boosts voltage and provides an isolation system for shore power. Available in 50 Amp or 100 Amp and 60Hz or 50/60Hz.

• Distribution Panels: Custom-built to client specifications, our distribution panels meet all marine classification requirements and offer features such as breaker label colour back lighting, breaker-on indicator lights, custom titles & text, and interchangeable labels.

• Consoles & Control Panels: Designed for use in commercial vessels, tug boats, barges, ferries, and pleasure yachts, our consoles and control panels provide a complete operation center.

• Navigation & Lighting Panels: These panels reliably control and monitor navigation lights, including incandescent or L.E.D. fixtures, and comply with regulatory requirements.

• Alarm Panels: Custom-built to client specification, our alarm panels monitor engine, ship systems, fire, bilge, hydraulics, intruder, etc.

• Source Switcher: This panel utilizes motorized circuit breakers in a standard split buss configuration, allowing one or two generators, generator/shore combination, or one or two shore powers to supply the vessel. Up to eight different power sources can be utilized in this fashion.

• Switchboards: For commercial and pleasure yacht applications, our switchboards range from manual operation to touch screen and/or automated control.

We are also distributors for the following manufacturers: Furuno, ComNav, Analytic Systems, Moeller, acquired by Eaton.
